Closing of KC Gallery Location
04/14/23 - 05/14/23
After a few succesful months of running the 8’ x 10’ Gallery, we decided it would be a great idea to build a Corner Office Extension to the gallery space. After all every good gallery needs an office to meet with potential clients and artist. We spent many weeks planning the extension, thinking out every detail before sending it to the construction crew; including custom furniture for the office.
The construction crew would do an amazing job making our vision a reality.
Sadly ... the Kansas City Department of Building Inspection had other ideas. They would slap the structure with multiple violation notice posters, and sadly force us to demolish our brand new office, just a few short days after construction was complete.

The office was furnished with custom-designer furniture for the space, including an Enzo Mari chair, a portable work-bench, a Wayfair Desk Organizer dupe. As well as being decorated with work by Bruce Nauman, Carlos Motta, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, and an exhibition poster for MOCA NOMI’s presetation of “PÒTOPRENS”.
